Metatarsalgia
A painful and sometimes inflamed area on the ball of the foot often located under the second to fourth metatarsal heads. Soft padding,rest and insoles can be used to treat the condition and you should wear appropriate laced up footwear. Please note that inflammatory conditions such as this can often take many months to resolve. If the condition persists seek professional advice from your Podiatrist (Chiropodist).
