Treatment
Treatment of foot pain on the ball of the foot varies depending on the cause. It is important to obtain an accurate diagnosis of the condition before deciding on a course of treatment but the main objective is the relief of foot pain.Gel pads, insoles, orthotics and metatarsal pads are all helpful in relieving symptoms. If a functional problem such as pronation is causing foot pain orthotics can be a long term solution. Where direct cushioning is required Prolyne Technogel is the gel pad of choice.
